Tax Accountant

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and accounting documentation.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Prepare and submit monthly , quarterly and annual tax returns, including VAT ,Withholding Tax (WHT) and payroll taxes .Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and organizational policies.Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the required financial documentation.Monitor cash flow and support treasury-related activities when required.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing of accounting documents.Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

EducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.Experience3–5 years of experience in taxation and accounting.Experience in corporate tax, VAT, payroll tax, and withholding tax is preferred.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of Egyptian tax laws and regulations (or the relevant local tax system).Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and PivotTables.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.Soft SkillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
