We are seeking an experienced Tax & Government Payments Accountant to manage tax compliance, statutory financial obligations, and government payment coordination across four legal entities.
The role requires strong practical knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations, electronic tax platforms, tax reconciliations, and government payment procedures.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting Manager, General Ledger Accountant, Payroll Department, and external tax advisors to ensure accurate calculations, timely submissions, and proper settlement of statutory obligations.
المتطلبات والشروط
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.3–5 years of practical tax accounting experience in Egypt.Strong knowledge of Egyptian corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and payroll tax procedures.Hands-on experience with the Egyptian Tax Authority electronic platforms.Experience with electronic invoicing (E-Invoicing) and electronic receipts where applicable.Familiarity with social insurance payment procedures.Good knowledge of (Excel) and (ERP) accounting systems.Strong documentation and reconciliation skills.Ability to manage statutory deadlines across multiple legal entities.Previous experience dealing with tax inspections is preferred.
