Tax Associate

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Accountant & Auditor to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, conducting financial audits, and maintaining accurate records to support business operations and tax inspections.

Key Responsibilities:Tax Compliance & Reporting:Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns accurately and on time.Calculate payroll tax and handle Form 4 (Quarterly) and Form 6 (Annually) submissions.Prepare and file Form No. 41 for withholding tax, ensuring timely payments.Monitor and ensure all tax payments are made before deadlines in accordance with legal requirements to avoid penalties.Audit & Financial Review:Conduct internal audits to assess financial records, compliance, and risk management.Review tax filings, financial statements, and accounting records for accuracy and compliance.Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or areas for financial improvement.Tax Inspection & Documentation:Prepare necessary documentation and analysis for tax audits and inspections.Maintain proper filing and documentation of all tax and audit-related paperwork.Client & Regulatory Liaison:Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tax and audit-related assistance as needed.Represent the company in dealings with tax authorities when required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).Experience: 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting and auditing.Preferred Background: Prior experience in a legal accounting office is an advantage.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).Good understanding of tax laws, auditing standards, and financial legislation.Key Competencies:Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations.Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.If you meet the above requirements and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply!
