Mechanical Product Design – Design and develop mechanical products, ensuring optimal material selection and compliance with relevant standards.
- 2D & 3D Manufacturing Drawings – Create accurate drawings with GD&T to support fabrication and assembly processes.
- BOM & CNC Nesting – Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), CNC nesting layouts, and assembly instructions.
- FEA-Based Structural Analysis – Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural validation and performance evaluation.
- Material & Production Selection – Recommend materials and production methods balancing durability, cost, and aesthetics.
- Project Follow-Up – Manage projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
- Cross-Team Coordination – Collaborate with fabrication, QC, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Site & Installation Support – Support installation teams and resolve technical challenges as they arise.
- Industry Compliance – Ensure designs adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
BSc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and technical office work
- Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD (especially Sheet Metal and Weldments) is a must.
- Strong knowledge of metallic and non-metallic materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminum, wood, concrete.
- Proven experience in FEA-based structural analysis.
- Solid background in sheet metal fabrication, welding, CNC machining, woodworking, and surface finishing techniques (coating, painting, anodizing).
- Prior experience in technical office work within a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Furniture fabrication experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems for BOM and costing is a plus.
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is a plus.
