About JarzJarz is an Egyptian dessert brand built around layered desserts presented in glass jars.

We are building a consistent content engine for Instagram, TikTok and paid campaigns, with a strong focus on phone-shot video and founder-led storytelling.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a hands-on video creator who can take a clear brief and turn it into a finished short-form video.

You will plan scenes, shoot mainly using a phone, manage lighting and sound, and edit platform-native videos for organic and paid use.This is not an editor-only position.

You should understand how the opening earns attention, where viewers may lose interest, and how to create several meaningful variations from one concept.

ResponsibilitiesTurn Jarz story angles and customer occasions into short-form video concepts.Prepare shot lists and organize weekly filming sessions.Shoot vertical videos using a phone with strong framing, focus, lighting and sound.Edit Reels, TikTok videos, founder-led content and paid creative.Create variations by changing one clear variable such as the opening visual, hook, pacing, text overlay or duration.Direct founders, customers and creators who appear on camera.Organize raw footage and editable files so strong scenes can be reused.Review watch time, audience retention, shares, saves, clicks and creative results.Recommend what Jarz should repeat, change or stop based on evidence.Deliver platform-ready exports in the required formats and dimensions.Follow Jarz brand guidelines and approved-claims rules.

Job RequirementsTwo to Five years of relevant experience, or an exceptional portfolio that demonstrates the required ability.A portfolio of vertical videos that you personally shot and edited.Strong mobile-videography skills, including exposure, white balance, focus and camera movement.Good command of CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or an equivalent editor.Understanding of hooks, audience retention, creative angles and calls to action.Ability to create several openings and edits from the same central concept.Ability to explain creative decisions using performance evidence.Comfortable working in Egyptian Arabic and English.Able to attend regular filming sessions in Cairo/Giza.Organized, reliable and comfortable receiving direct feedback.Preferred ExperienceFood, hospitality, beauty or lifestyle video creation.Founder-led or UGC-style filming.Creating variations for Meta or TikTok campaigns.Basic motion graphics, sound design or color correction.Application RequirementsPlease submit:Your CV.Five vertical videos that reflect your strongest work.A short note explaining what you personally handled in each example.Any performance results you are permitted to share.One example where you created different openings or edits from the same concept.Your availability and expected monthly compensation.Selected candidates will complete a paid practical assessment using the same phone-led workflow expected in the role.
