Warehouse Specialist

Job SummaryHouse Babylon is looking for a highly organized and proactive Warehouse & Logistics Specialist to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the efficient handling of inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.

The ideal candidate will maintain high inventory accuracy, coordinate with shipping companies and factories, and support operational excellence while ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory movement, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.Coordinate daily shipments with courier and shipping companies and follow up until successful dispatch.Manage customer returns and exchanges, inspect returned items, and update inventory records accordingly.Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock handling and storage procedures are consistently followed.Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts while identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation using Microsoft Excel and Odoo ERP.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports.Coordinate product transfers between the warehouse, factories, suppliers, and retail locations.Follow up with factories regarding production, deliveries, and shipment preparation when required.Ensure products are properly labeled, organized, and stored according to company standards.Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards.Support inventory audits and stock reconciliation activities.Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency.Report operational issues and recommend corrective actions when necessary.Deliver products, samples, or materials to factories, suppliers, or shipping companies when required.

Required skills:Bachelor's degree.1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or e-commerce fulfillment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, reporting, filtering, sorting, and inventory tracking.Experience using Odoo ERP or similar ERP/Warehouse Management Systems.Experience coordinating with shipping and courier companies.Experience handling returns.Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management.Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Flexible to work overtime or outside regular working hours when required by business needs.

Overtime will be compensated according to company policy.Physically able to stand for long periods, perform physically demanding warehouse activities, and lift up to 15–20 kg as needed.Owning a car or scooter is preferred for occasional deliveries between the warehouse, factories, suppliers, and shipping companies.

Additional transportation expenses and compensation will be provided for work-related trips.
