Warehouse Operations ManagementSupervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.Ensure proper handling and storage of furniture to avoid damage.Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.

Inventory ControlConduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Maintain inventory accuracy in the system.

3.

Team LeadershipManage and supervise warehouse staff (storekeepers, helpers, forklift operators).Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.Provide training and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.

4.

Health & Safety ComplianceEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Report and manage any incidents or hazards.

5.

Process ImprovementIdentify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices.Optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.

6.

Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with procurement, logistics, and retail teams to ensure smooth operations.Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and KPIs.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.5–8 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in furniture or retail industry.Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).Leadership and team management skills.Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
