Water Treatment & Utilities Technician - KSA

APEX Pharma is seeking a qualified and experienced Water Treatment & Utilities Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in operating and maintaining water treatment and utility systems within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, with full awareness of GMP, safety, and quality compliance requirements.

Key AccountabilitiesOperate and maintain pharmaceutical water treatment systems, including Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Thermocompressor systems.Perform routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of water treatment units to ensure continuous and reliable operation.Execute chemical treatment activities in the facility for chilled water networks, water treatment stations, and boilers, in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards.Monitor the operation and maintenance of boilers and air compressors to ensure optimum performance and availability.Operate and maintain various water pumps across the facility.Follow up calibration activities related to engineering utilities, including water treatment systems, boilers, and air compressors.Record periodic readings for all assigned utility systems and prepare the required maintenance and operation reports.Submit maintenance reports, operational data, and performance updates to the Engineering Manager in a timely manner.Ensure all utility and maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.Apply occupational health and safety instructions in line with international standards and company procedures.Support inspection readiness and maintain proper documentation for all related systems and maintenance activities.

Technical qualification in a relevant field, such as an Industrial Technical Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 7 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.Proven hands-on experience with RO and Thermocompressor water treatment systems.Good practical knowledge of chemical treatment processes related to chilled water systems, water stations, and boilers.Experience in monitoring and maintaining boilers, air compressors, and water pumps.Familiarity with calibration follow-up activities for engineering utility systems.Ability to prepare maintenance reports, record operational readings, and maintain proper documentation.Good understanding of GMP requirements and regulated pharmaceutical work environments.Strong commitment to occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage routine and emergency maintenance requirements effectively.Saudi Arabia residents are preferred; all nationalities are welcome to apply.Good command of English;
