Job Description
- Structure design, members verification according to project requirements
- Designing steel connections using IDEA Statica
- 3D modeling of steel structures using TEKLA Structures
- 3D modeling of industrial steel structures using Tekla Structures
- Preparation of GA drawings, shop drawings, and assembly drawings.
- Extraction of BOM and steel weight reports for fabrication.
- Quantity take-off and material estimation.
- Generation of NC files for plates and steel profiles.
- Coordination with workshop and production team to avoid fabrication conflicts.
- Creating workshop drawings, structural designs for steel calculations to ensure stability and safety, manage workshop fabrication activities and assembly.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in steel structure detailing & technical office
- Proven track record in steel structures fabrication.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, TEKLA, SAP,IDEA Statica.
- Proven experience in project planning and cost estimation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
