Job Description
- Develop and implement the organization compensation and benefits strategy.
- Design and maintain salary structures, grading systems, and pay scales.
- Conduct market salary benchmarking and compensation surveys within the financial services and microfinance sectors.
- Develop and manage incentive and performance-based reward programs.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave benefits, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal compensation policies.
- Lead annual salary reviews, promotions, and bonus planning processes.
- Monitor compensation costs and prepare budgets and management reports.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align reward strategies with organizational goals.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefits programs based on employee needs and market trends.
- Develop policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits administration.
- Manage HRIS compensation and payroll data to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lead and mentor the compensation and benefits team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years specializing in compensation and benefits.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in the microfinance, banking, financial services, or fintech industry is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in HR budgeting, compensation cost modeling, labor cost forecasting, and financial analysis.
