External Processing Coordinator

Coordinate and monitor all subcontracted manufacturing activities.Ensure materials, components, and semi-finished products are delivered to subcontractors according to production schedules.Follow up on work progress and production status at subcontractor facilities.Ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.Materials & Inventory ControlVerify quantities before dispatch to subcontractors.Maintain accurate records of materials sent, received, rejected, and scrapped.Reconcile dispatched quantities with returned finished or processed products.Investigate and report any discrepancies, shortages, or material losses.Field Follow-Up & Supplier CoordinationConduct regular site visits to subcontractors and external processing facilities.Monitor production progress and identify potential delays.Coordinate corrective actions to resolve production or quality issues.Build and maintain effective working relationships with subcontractors.Cross-Functional CoordinationCoordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering departments.Ensure subcontractors receive all required technical documentation and production requirements.Support production planning by providing accurate progress updates and completion forecasts.

Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Manufacturing, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, supply chain, or subcontracting operations.Experience in sheet metal fabrication, electrical panel manufacturing, metal processing, or related industries is preferred.Required SkillsStrong organizational and follow-up skills.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Ability to work in a field-based environment and travel to supplier locations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
