Facilities Maintenance Engineer

• Key Responsibilities
• ·Civil & Structural Integrity:Conduct regular inspections and execute repair plans for all factory buildings, administrative offices, and warehouses.

Manage civil works including roofing, industrial flooring, masonry, carpentry, painting, and door/window maintenance.

• ·Building Services:Oversee the maintenance and repair of domestic plumbing, sanitary systems, office HVAC (non-process climate control), and general facility lighting.
• ·Infrastructure & Grounds Management:Maintain exterior physical assets including paved roads, parking lots, sidewalks, fencing, gates, landscaping, and site drainage systems.
• ·Fire & Life Safety Systems:Manage the scheduled inspection, testing, and maintenance of facility safety infrastructure, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, and evacuation routes, ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations.
• ·Contractor & Vendor Supervision:Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors providing facility services (e.g., civil repairs, cleaning, pest control, waste management, and landscaping).

Ensure all external work adheres to Sphinx Glass safety and quality standards.

• ·Maintenance Planning & CMMS:Develop, implement, and track preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all facility assets using the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• ·Space & Asset Management:Assist with office space planning, furniture maintenance, and managing the inventory of facility-related spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• ·Budgeting & Reporting:Track facility maintenance expenses against the allocated budget.

Prepare accurate technical reports on building conditions, contractor performance, and ongoing civil projects for management review.
