Job Description

  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive Technical Office Engineering documentation, including detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for various projects.
  • Develop precise Shop Drawingsfor furniture, woodworks, and interior design elements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Translate complex Interior Design and Furniture Design conceptsinto actionable, technical plans suitable for manufacturing and construction.
  • Collaborate closely with Architectural Engineering teamsto integrate design elements seamlessly into overall project structures.
  • Oversee WoodWorks and Joinery specifications, ensuring material suitability, structural integrity, and aesthetic quality.
  • Conduct thorough technical reviewsof designs and plans, identifying potential challenges and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Coordinate with production teams and suppliersto ensure all technical requirements are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail throughout all project phases.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Technical Office Experience:Minimum5 years of hands-on experiencein a technical office, design engineering, or similar role within theinterior design, furniture manufacturing, joinery, or architectural sectors.
  • Technical & Design Expertise:Strong experience infurniture design, woodwork, joinery, interior design, architectural works, shop drawings, production drawings, and BOQ preparation.
  • Software Skills:Advanced proficiency inAutoCADand experience with3D modeling softwaresuch as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit.
  • Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree inArchitectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.

Equivalent practical experience and relevant certifications will also be considered.

  • Technical Documentation:Experience in preparingmaterial submittals, technical documentation, specifications, and other project-related documents.
  • Coordination & Communication:Strong ability to coordinate withconsultants, project managers, designers, suppliers, and production teamsto ensure all technical requirements are properly addressed.
  • Problem Solving & Attention to Detail:Excellentproblem-solving, critical thinking, material selection, coordination, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • English Language:Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
  • Location:Candidates based in or nearNew Cairo, Fifth Settlement, Nasr City, Heliopolis, Madinaty, El Shorouk, Rehab, or nearby areas are preferred.
