HR Data Analyst
Job Description
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze HR data from various sources and systems.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR reports and dashboards for management.
- Analyze key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, attendance, recruitment, retention, and workforce demographics.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
- Use Excel functions, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data visualization techniques to analyze HR data.
- Identify trends, patterns, data quality issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support HR teams in converting business requirements into meaningful reports and analytical solutions.
- Ensure HR reports and dashboards are accurate, timely, and aligned with business requirements.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between HR systems and reporting outputs.
- Collaborate with HRIS, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and other HR functions to understand data requirements.
- Support the development of HR KPIs and analytical reports for management decision-making.
- Maintain data confidentiality and ensure HR data is handled in accordance with company policies.
- Contribute to HR digital transformation and automation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Analysis, HR Analytics, HRIS, Reporting, or a related field.
- Good understanding of HR processes and terminology.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF functions, Power Query, and data visualization.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to translate business requirements into reports and actionable insights.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with large datasets and maintain data confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HRIS systems such as MenaITech, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Experience in HR reporting or HR dashboards.
- Knowledge of Power BI DAX is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Power Query and data transformation.
- Understanding of HR KPIs and workforce analytics.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting best practices.
