HR Specialist
Job Description
Core ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Staffing: Draft job descriptions, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to build strong teams.Onboarding & Training: Facilitate new-hire orientations, process employment paperwork, and coordinate professional development or training programs.Employee Relations: Serve as a mediator to resolve workplace disputes, address employee grievances, and promote a healthy company culture.Compensation, Benefits & Payroll: Assist employees with benefits enrollment (health, life, retirement), field payroll questions, and ensure competitive compensation packages.Compliance & Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, confidential employee records (both digital and physical) and ensure company practices comply with local, state, and regional labor laws.Performance Management: Track and assist with quarterly and annual performance evaluations, supporting managers and staff in setting improvement goals. Education & Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, alongside 2 to 5+ years of hands-on experience
