Job Description
- Design and implement domestic sales strategies, budgets, and strategic plans aligned with overall sales and growth objectives.
- Prepare domestic sales forecasts and periodic performance reports for executive management to ensure maximum profitability.
- Identify opportunities for domestic expansion, acquire new clients and agents, and analyze competitors and local market trends.
- Proactively generate new business opportunities and develop new local markets through direct outreach, relationship building, and other targeted communication channels.
- Manage domestic commercial accounts, drive revenue growth, and expand local market presence by developing strategic accounts.
- Oversee all aspects of domestic client portfolios—including financial and payment records, shipment tracking, and profit-and-loss monitoring for each account—and manage collections to ensure timely payments in accordance with agreed-upon credit terms.
- Lead domestic commercial negotiations and address client complaints or objections in coordination with relevant internal departments.
- Represent the company at domestic trade shows, business events, and industry conferences to strengthen client relationships and enhance brand visibility.
- Source and evaluate new local suppliers, ensuring that raw materials meet technical specifications.
- Request, analyze, and compare price quotations to select the best available options.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and domestic trade conditions professionally.
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
- Oversee domestic shipping operations and ensure that shipments arrive on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations, and maintain all required licenses and certifications.
- Prepare periodic reports and analyze domestic procurement data.
- Adhere to procurement policies, governance frameworks, and risk management guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience in domestic sales and local procurement of pulses, grains, herbs, and spices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining local partnerships.
- Proficiency in understanding market trends and local business operations.
- In-depth understanding of domestic trade terminology.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to manage crises and work under pressure.
