Job Title: Junior Technical Drafter

Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Drafter to join our team.

As a Junior Technical Drafter, you will play a crucial role in assisting senior drafters and engineers in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to translate rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate and precise computer-aided design (CAD) drawings.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of drafting principles, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for producing high-quality technical drawings.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with senior drafters and engineers to understand project requirements and expectations.

Translate rough sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions into accurate and precise CAD drawings using drafting software.

Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and assemblies, based on project specifications.

Ensure compliance with relevant drafting standards and guidelines.

Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate design changes and feedback from senior team members.

Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), material specifications, and manufacturing instructions.

Perform basic calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.

Maintain organized records of drawings and related project documents.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution.

Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in drafting

techniques and software.

Requirements:Associate degree or diploma in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of drafting principles, standards, and techniques.

Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in producing technical drawings.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and implement design requirements.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Familiarity with construction and manufacturing processes is a plus.

Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software is an advantage.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new drafting tools and technologies.
