Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Operations Manager to lead our production facility.

The role is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process— from raw material intake (fresh farm produce) through processing, freezing, and final distribution.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in food production environments, capable of driving efficiency, quality, and team performance in a fast-paced factory setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of end-to-end operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, growth targets, and consumers expectations.
• Drive integrated operational planning, including production, raw materials, consumables, packaging, and manpower, to ensure optimal resource utilization and business continuity.
• Lead demand forecasting and capacity planning to balance consumers requirements with operational capabilities and cost efficiency.
• Oversee execution of job orders and production plans, ensuring timely distribution, quality compliance, and operational excellence.
• Establish and enforce robust operational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to enhance efficiency, consistency, and cost control.
• Own and monitor key operational KPIs (e.g., productivity, wastage, efficiency, service levels), providing insights and strategic recommendations to management.
• Champion a high-performance culture by leading, coaching, and developing operations teams, ensuring accountability, capability building, and succession planning.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure seamless workflow and achievement of business targets.
• Ensure full compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health & safety policies, fostering a culture of operational discipline and risk management.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives, leveraging data and best practices to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee production and quality performance reporting, using data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Anticipate operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations and supply reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Operations.

Management, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or processing industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and food safety systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
