Job Description

  • Define BIM requirements per discipline alongside BIM Managers and participate in producing theBEP.
  • Ensure BIM processes, procedures, and models are standardized and compliant with project goals and requiredLOD.
  • Define and update engineering best practices, procedures, and theCAD Manualat the start of the project.
  • Act as the primary point of contact within the BIM team for any discipline-specific BIM issues.
  • Perform regular quality checks on models' health, naming conventions, versioning, and metadata, filling outQA/QC checklists.
  • Establish a comprehensive objects and componentsfamily libraryper discipline.
  • Support the BIM Coordinator duringClash Detection analysisand Gate Review meetings.
  • Define theTIDPat project startup and ensure all extracted drawings match the models perfectly.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:+5 yearsof solid experience in plumbing and infrastructure BIM works.
  • Software Skills:Excellent command of(CAD, Revit, and Civil 3D).
  • Technical Expertise:Exceptional skills in creatingparametric familiesin Revit from scratch.
  • Core Capabilities:Deep understanding of BIM execution plans (BEP), LOD requirements, and QA/QC model checklists.
