Job Title: Production Section Head (Solvent-Based)Location: Misurata, LibyaIndustry: Manufacturing – Paints & Coatings Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Production Section Head (Solvent-Based) to lead and manage solvent-based paint production operations.

The role is responsible for ensuring production efficiency, product quality, safety compliance, and alignment with production plans.

Lead and supervise all solvent-based production activities on a daily basis.Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines.Manage production teams including engineers, supervisors, and labor workers.Monitor and improve machine utilization, productivity, and downtime.Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and production procedures.Coordinate with Planning, QC, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.Analyze production data and prepare regular performance reports.Control material usage and minimize waste and losses.Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations within the section.Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fieldMinimum 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in paints or chemicalsProven experience in solvent-based production processesStrong leadership and team management skillsSolid understanding of production planning and workflow managementAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
