Job RequirementsJob Requirements for Purchasing Manager – Fresh & Frozen Fruits and VegetablesEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the food industry, in fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.Expertise in sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.Familiarity with European export quality standards and compliance regulations.Proficiency in supply chain management software and data analysis tools.Core Competencies:Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure the best value while maintaining supplier relationships.Supplier Management: Build and manage a network of reliable suppliers locally and internationally.Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new sourcing opportunities.Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased products meet international quality and safety standards.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for effective supplier and team coordination.Personal Attributes:Results-driven and proactive.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when needed.Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
