Sales Manager – Hotels / Red Sea Area
Job Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving hotel revenue through corporate, travel trade, leisure, group, and direct business segments.
The ideal candidate should have a strong hospitality background with solid understanding of hotel operations, guest experience, room inventory, reservations, and revenue opportunities.The role requires a commercially driven professional who can build strong client relationships and support the overall business growth of the hotels across the Red Sea area.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage sales opportunities for hotels across the Red Sea regionBuild and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, and business partnersIdentify new business opportunities and support revenue growth across different market segmentsCoordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Revenue, and Operations teams to maximize occupancy and guest satisfactionPrepare sales visits, client meetings, offers, proposals, and follow-up reportsHandle group bookings, corporate agreements, and long-stay opportunitiesMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and hospitality market demandEnsure smooth communication between sales, reservations, and hotel operations teamsSupport upselling initiatives and guest-related commercial opportunitiesPrepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance summariesRepresent the hotels professionally during client meetings, site inspections, and business events
EducationBachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing, or any related fieldExperiencePrevious experience in hotel sales, front office, reservations, rooms division, or guest relationsExperience in hotels or resorts is a mustExperience in Red Sea destinations or resort properties is preferredExperience dealing with corporate accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, or group business is a plusPreferred BackgroundCandidates should have one of the following backgrounds:Sales Manager / Sales Executive with Front Office or Rooms Division experienceORFront Office Manager / Assistant Front Office Manager with strong sales and commercial exposureSkills & CompetenciesStrong hospitality and guest service backgroundExcellent communication and negotiation skillsGood understanding of hotel operations, occupancy, room categories, reservations, and guest journeyCommercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunitiesStrong relationship-building and client management skillsProfessional, presentable, and confident personalityAbility to coordinate effectively with multiple departmentsStrong reporting and follow-up skillsGood command of EnglishKnowledge of hotel systems/PMS is preferredAbility to work under pressure and achieve targetsApplicants from any city can apply.
