Job Description
- Act as the main compliance contact with the FRA.
- Handle applications for establishing/licensing investment funds and regulated investment vehicles.
- Prepare and review fund prospectuses and offering documents.
- Review fund structures, agreements, marketing materials, and procedures for regulatory compliance.
- Manage regulatory submissions and respond to FRA observations, requests, and inspections.
- Oversee AML/KYC and counter-terrorism financing compliance.
- Maintain compliance policies, registers, records, and regulatory reports.
- Work with Legal, Investment, Fund Management, and Promotion/Underwriting teams.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting funds, asset management, PE, VC, sukuk, and other NBFI activities.
- Attend FRA/regulatory meetings when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Compliance / Regulatory Affairs within financial services.
- Strong preference for experience in asset management, investment banking, securities, investment funds, or FRA-regulated entities.
- 25+ years' experience preferred.
- Proven direct experience dealing with the FRA or predecessor authorities.
