Job Description
- Develop and execute logistics plans aligned with business and supply chain objectives.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and 3PL providers.
- Review purchase orders, shipping documents, and import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate air and sea freight shipments from origin to warehouse.
- Handle customs clearance processes, duty payments, ACID registrations, and all import-related regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely issuance and delivery of shipment documentation.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams regarding receiving, storage, and inventory activities.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
- Track logistics KPIs and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international shipping standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and service performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or import/export operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international shipping regulations.
- Experience handling sea and air freight shipments.
- Familiarity with ACID registration and import documentation processes.
- Experience dealing with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- SAP experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
