Senior Payroll Specialist
Job Description
Manage the full monthly payroll cycle, including processing, validating inputs (attendance, overtime, leaves, bonuses, commissions, etc.), and ensuring timely payouts.Oversee payroll data, including managing newcomers’ setup, final settlements for resigned employees, and reconciling data before final processing.Ensure all transactions strictly comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and social insurance requirements.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports.
Assist in internal and external payroll audits in collaboration with the HR Director.Partner with the HR Personnel specialist to ensure accurate data flow into the payroll module, minimizing manual errors.Handle employment contracts and renewals, ensuring all notices (renewal/non-renewal) are delivered within legal timeframes.Resolve payroll discrepancies and handle all employee inquiries regarding salaries, benefits, and deductions with high confidentiality.Contribute to the improvement of payroll systems and processes, and collaborate with the Finance team for reconciliation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human resources, law or a related field.3-6 years of proven experience in Payroll or HR operations.Deep understanding of Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance regulations, and Income Tax laws.Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle employee inquiries professionally and maintain high levels of confidentiality.Proven experience in using the HITS HRIS system is mandatory.Fluency in both Arabic and English is a plus.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office.Previous experience in the Automotive sector is highly preferred.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
