Warehouse Keeper - Industrial Sector

A leading company in the metalworking and scrap trade industry is seeking a highly competent and reliable Warehouse Keeper to join our team in Zifta, Gharbia Governorate.You will be fully responsible for managing metal and scrap inventory, supervising weighing and sorting operations, and accurately recording all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.Job Roles & ResponsibilitiesReceive & Sort Scrap: Inspect incoming metal shipments and accurately classify them by material type (iron, copper, aluminum, etc.).Supervise Weighing: Monitor and verify shipment weights on weighbridges (Bascul scales) or platform scales, documenting all figures precisely.Inventory Control: Record all stock receipts and issuance vouchers manually and on computer systems to prevent discrepancies or waste.Supervise Loading/Unloading: Direct laborers and equipment operators (e.g., forklift drivers) during the handling of heavy metal materials.Cycle Counting: Conduct regular and spot inventory audits to match physical weights and quantities with system records.Health & Safety: Strictly enforce occupational health and safety rules given the sharp and heavy nature of industrial metal materials.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial company warehouses (preference is strongly given to candidates with background in metalworking or scrap yards).Location: Residents of Zifta or nearby areas in Gharbia are preferred.Technical Skills: High capability to distinguish between different metal grades and knowledge of heavy transport weighing procedures.Physical Fitness: Ability to work productively in a demanding industrial field environment.Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computers and ERP (Odoo) for daily data logging.Personal Traits: Absolute honesty, high attention to detail, firmness, and strong labor management skills.Military Status: Completed or permanently exempted from military service.
