Civil Procurement Engineer

Lead the procurement process for civil engineering materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.Evaluate and negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the organization.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.Prepare and manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and reports.Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative materials that align with project specifications and company standards.Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Analyze procurement data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost savings.

Minimum of 3 : 5 years of experience in civil procurement or a related field within the construction industry.Proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for civil engineering projects.Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and supplier markets.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards in all procurement activities.
