Job Description
- Responsible for budgeting, cost management, performance evaluation and asset management within the company.
- Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
- Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
- Coordinatephysical inventory countsandcycle counts.
- Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues.
- Updatestandard costsin thebill of materials.
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
- Validate thecost of goods soldas part of the month-end close.
- Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures.
- Control over warehouses balances.
- Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
- Prepares estimates of new and proposed product cost.
- Manage local inventory (stock) process.
- Keep updated inventory records on daily basis in ERP systems including daily transactions.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly strict closing deadlines..
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profit while ensuring competitive pricing
- Prepare pricing reports and analyses
- Analyzing price change requests from the sales team by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
- Monitor and update pricing as needed to reflect changes in the market
Requirements & Qualifications
- Similar experience with costing , budgeting, and stock control at industrial environment for at least 3 years.
