Job Description
- Develop and execute district sales plans to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, open new markets, and expand the customer base across the assigned territory.
- Lead and supervise the entire district sales and distribution team, including sales representatives, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
- Monitor daily sales activities, customer visits, collection performance, and individual and team sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and key accounts.
- Manage the district's distribution hub operations in coordination with the relevant teams, ensuring efficient order processing, stock availability, loading, delivery, and inventory control.
- Monitor stock levels, product movement, and product availability to minimize shortages, slow-moving stock, and operational losses.
- Analyze sales performance and market trends, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
- Ensure effective coordination between sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to maintain timely and accurate customer orders.
- Monitor competitors, market prices, customer needs, and emerging business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, sales procedures, and operational standards.
- Prepare regular sales and operational reports covering targets, achievements, market coverage, inventory, and team performance.
- Recruit, coach, and develop team members to improve productivity and achieve business objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, food distribution, agricultural products, or wholesale trading.
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and developing new markets.
- Previous experience managing sales teams and distribution operations is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of distribution channels, customer management, stock control, and market dynamics.
- Proven experience inwholesale and distribution sales, with a strong understanding of wholesale markets, traders, and distribution channels.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple operational functions and lead teams toward measurable results.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Valid driving license and availability of a personal car are required.
