Job Description
- Lead the strategic and operational management of a network of Applied Technology Schools.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate school managers, setting clear performance targets and improvement plans.
- Develop and implement standardized policies, procedures, and educational systems across all schools.
- Design and improve educational processes, including curriculum delivery, lesson planning, assessment, student support, and workplace training.
- Establish performance indicators and dashboards to monitor student achievement, attendance, teaching quality, and school performance.
- Use data and regular school reviews to identify gaps, implement corrective actions, and measure progress.
- Lead the transformation of public schools into industry-responsive Applied Technology Schools.
- Manage international accreditation processes, including readiness assessments, quality assurance, evidence preparation, and coordination with accreditation bodies.
- Coordinate with corporate and industry partners to align education with employment needs and strengthen practical training opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and relevant authorities on school operations, approvals, and development plans.
- Lead professional development for school managers, teachers, trainers, and quality assurance teams.
- Oversee resource planning and promote effective use of school budgets, facilities, equipment, and staffing.
- Ensure effective student welfare, safeguarding, health and safety, and parent engagement practices.
- Report to senior management and partners on school performance, risks, and improvement priorities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, engineering, management, or a relevant field. A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Extensive educational leadership experience, including proven responsibility for managing multiple schools or vocational education institutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading school managers and multidisciplinary teams across different locations.
- Strong experience in technical and vocational education, preferably within Applied Technology Schools.
- Proven experience in school transformation, institutional development, and change management.
- Strong knowledge of educational standards, competency-based education, assessment, and quality assurance.
- Hands-on experience leading international accreditation processes.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and monitor standardized educational and operational procedures.
- A data-driven approach, with strong skills in performance analysis, dashboards, and reporting.
- Experience coordinating with corporate partners, industry stakeholders, and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong command of Arabic and English, including professional report writing.
- Proficiency in digital school management systems and data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel frequently across governorates.
- Must own a car and hold a valid driving licence.
