Job Description
- Sourcing & Outreach:Identify and contact potential drivers through job boards, social media, and industry networks.
- Candidate Screening:Conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and fit for our fleet’s specific routes.
- Vetting & Compliance:Coordinate the collection of MVRs, background checks, and drug screenings to ensure alignment with DOT and FMCSA regulations (training provided).
- Offer Negotiation:Clearly explain pay scales, benefits, and home-time expectations to secure driver commitments.
- Administrative Management:Maintain accurate candidate records within our tracking systems and manage the onboarding paperwork process.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strong Communication:Ability to speak confidently and professionally with drivers from diverse backgrounds.
- Sales Aptitude:A natural ability to persuade, "close" leads, and build professional relationships.
- Technical Proficiency:Comfortable using email, office software, and learning specialized recruitment tools.
- Adaptability:A proactive mindset with the flexibility to communicate with drivers during their off-peak hours.
- Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple applicants simultaneously and follow up promptly.
- Experience:Prior experience in recruitment, sales, or customer service is preferred.
- Education:BSc in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge:Willingness to learn trucking industry regulations and driver qualification standards.
- Language:Full fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Internet:Minimum30mbpsdownload speed.
- Hardware:Laptop/PC withCore i5 processor(or higher) and at least16 GB RAM.
