Job Description

  • Quality Systems & Standards:Develop and maintain inspection plans, QC checklists, and strict quality benchmarks for stainless-steel fabrication, welding, and hygienic designs.
  • Calibration Management:Oversee calibration programs for factory measuring and testing instruments.
  • Inspections (Incoming & In-Process):Conduct thorough inspections on raw materials and intermediate products at specified hold points.
  • Final Testing & Gatekeeping:Perform final inspections and operational tests, issue QC reports, and manage product release decisions.
  • Quality Ownership:Ensure all Work Orders meet optimal quality standards before factory release.
  • NCR & Root-Cause Analysis:Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), segregate defective items, and lead Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) for corrective actions.
  • Shop-floor Improvement:Advocate for 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • KPIs & Client Handover:Track quality metrics and prepare quality documentation for client delivery.
  • Risk Escalation:Raise potential quality risks to management promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education:BSc in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience:Maximum 7 years of total experience, with at least3 years specifically in stainless steel fabrication.
  • Technical Blueprints:Proficient in reading technical drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Precision Metrology:Skilled in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Language Skills:Bilingual (Fluent in Arabic and English).
  • Preferred Certifications / Knowledge:Knowledge of ISO 9001, welding inspection standards, hygienic food-grade design guidelines, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Soft Skills:Strong professional integrity, high attention to detail, structured problem-solving mindset (RCA/CAPA), and effective cross-functional communication with Engineering, Production, and Warehouse teams.
