Job Description
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction, industrial, infrastructure, and EPC sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and project owners.
- Generate sales leads and convert opportunities into awarded projects.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand customer requirements.
- Promote the company’s steel fabrication and structural steel capabilities to prospective clients.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Support contract negotiations and project award processes.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Estimation Department to prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.
- Clarify client requirements and ensure proposals meet project specifications.
- Assist in pricing discussions and commercial negotiations.
- Support project handover activities to ensure smooth transition from sales to execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and requests.
- Maintain strong customer relationships to secure repeat business.
- Follow up on submitted offers and negotiate commercial terms when required.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Estimation, Production, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
- Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated to internal stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to sales processes and customer service.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering.
- Experience within the steel fabrication, structural steel, construction, or industrial manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business opportunities.
