Job Description

  • Provide proper accounting treatment and classification for cash and cheque payment vouchers.
  • Handle bank accounting activities and prepare regular bank reconciliation statements.
  • Perform supplier account reconciliations and ensure balances are accurately matched.
  • Prepare and review export shipment costing and pricing.
  • Review accounting transactions and ensure they are properly recorded in the relevant accounts.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper classification of transactions.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with Egyptian tax regulations.
  • Handle electronic invoices and electronic receipts and ensure compliance with the Egyptian Tax Authority requirements.
  • Review tax-related transactions and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and organize tax and accounting documentation.
  • Support tax inspections and provide the required accounting and tax documents.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial data related to the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Prepare required accounting and tax reports and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments regarding accounting and tax-related matters.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in tax accounting or a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of the accounting treatment and proper classification of cash and cheque payment vouchers.
  • Good knowledge of export shipment costing and pricing.
  • Solid understanding of bank accounting and preparation of bank reconciliation statements.
  • Experience in supplier account reconciliation and balance matching.
  • Good understanding of the key components of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.
  • Good knowledge of the Egyptian tax system, including tax return preparation and submission, electronic invoicing, and electronic receipts.
