Job Description
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical equipment and production machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions.
- Monitor the performance and condition of electrical systems and recommend corrective actions and improvements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical panels, control panels, motors, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, and other industrial electrical systems.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time.
- Diagnose electrical and control system issues and perform root-cause analysis for recurring failures.
- Coordinate with Production and other Engineering functions to resolve electrical and equipment-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support to electrical maintenance technicians.
- Support the installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of electrical equipment and production lines.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for electrical maintenance and technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, electrical efficiency, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, electrical procedures, and applicable regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of relevant experiencein electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience inFMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similar industriesis highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience withindustrial motors, electrical panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, contactors, relays, and control systems.
- Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical and control system failures.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Good knowledge of industrial automation and electrical control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Good command of MS Office and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond to production-critical breakdowns.
