Costing Accountant Supervisor

As the Costing Accountant Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting, from data collection and analysis to reporting and process improvement.

You will lead a team of talented cost accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our costing processes.

This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:Supervise and mentor a team of cost accountants.Develop and maintain accurate cost accounting systems and procedures.Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare detailed reports.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency.Prepare and present cost accounting information to management.

Skills & Technologies:Proficiency in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, Finance, and Accounting.Strong understanding of budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory management.Experience with GAAP and IFRS.Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Cost Control.Excellent Data Analysis and Reporting skills.

Do you have what it takes?Experience: A minimum of 4-10 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, Finance, and Accounting principles.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Budgeting, Variance Analysis, and Inventory Management.Standards: Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Cost Control processes.Analytical Skills: Excellent Data Analysis and Reporting abilities.Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex costing issues.Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively supervise and mentor a team.
