Export Supply Chain Manager

Export Operations & LogisticsPlan, coordinate, and manage all export shipments, including sea, air, and land freight.Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, etc.).Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or disruptions.Compliance & Regulatory ManagementEnsure full compliance with export control regulations, sanctions, and trade laws (e.g., Incoterms, ECRA, EAR, OFAC).Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations in target export markets.Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to manage export licenses and classification (HS codes, ECCN).Conduct periodic audits of export processes and documentation to mitigate risk.Supplier & Vendor ManagementEvaluate, onboard, and manage relationships with logistics service providers and trade partners.Negotiate freight rates, service level agreements, and contracts with carriers and forwarders.Monitor vendor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Inventory & Demand CoordinationCollaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align export schedules with inventory availability.Manage export order processing and track order fulfillment from origin to destination.Support demand planning and forecasting activities for international markets.Reporting & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports on export performance metrics (cost, lead time, on-time delivery, compliance).Identify trends, root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.Present supply chain insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

EducationBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.Master's degree or professional certification (CSCMP, CITB, FIATA, or equivalent) is a plus.Experience5+ years of experience in export supply chain, international logistics, or trade compliance.Proven track record managing multi-modal freight (ocean, air, road) across global markets.Experience with export documentation and customs clearance processes.Prior experience in a manufacturing, trading, or FMCG environment preferred.Technical SkillsProficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and TMS/WMS platforms.Strong command of MS Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.Familiarity with trade compliance software and customs management tools.CompetenciesStrong negotiation and vendor management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.Effective cross-functional communicator with the ability to influence without authority.Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
