Onboarding Specialist

Job SummaryThe Onboarding Specialist is responsible for welcoming and onboarding new merchants, suppliers, and business partners joining the Mrkoon platform.

The role ensures that all new accounts are successfully registered, verified, and activated by collecting the required information, validating documents, understanding customer needs, and introducing the value of the Mrkoon platform to build long-term engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesContact newly registered merchants and businesses through phone calls, WhatsApp, or other communication channels.Guide new customers through the onboarding process and ensure a smooth registration experience.Verify that all registration details are accurate, complete, and up to date.Collect and validate all required legal documents and business information.Understand each customer's business activities and interests, including the types of scrap or surplus materials they buy or sell.Educate customers about the benefits, services, and features of the Mrkoon platform.Build strong relationships with new customers and encourage active platform usage.Follow up with customers to complete any missing information or documentation.Coordinate with internal teams to resolve onboarding issues and ensure timely account activation.Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM or internal systems.Track onboarding progress and achieve onboarding and activation targets.Report customer feedback, common concerns, and improvement opportunities to management.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in Customer Success, Customer Service, Sales, Merchant Onboarding, or Account Management.Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or technology platforms is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.Customer-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle multiple customers and follow-ups simultaneously.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
