Planning Engineer

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and milestones.Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.Prepare and present regular progress reports, forecasts, and updates to management and project teams.Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.Assist in resource allocation and workload planning to optimize project efficiency.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations throughout project execution.Participate in project meetings, providing insights and recommendations on planning and scheduling matters.Support the preparation of tender schedules, work breakdown structures, and project documentation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning and scheduling conflicts.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.2-5 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar project planning role.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and scheduling techniques.Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.Experience working in an office-based environment with cross-functional teams.
