Planning Manager

Prepare annual, seasonal, and monthly merchandise financial plans based on sales forecasts, market trends, and business objectives.Forecast product demand by analyzing historical sales, customer behavior, and fashion trends.Determine optimal inventory levels across product categories, brands, and store locations.Develop merchandise allocation plans to maximize product availability and sales performance.Monitor sales performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.Coordinate replenishment activities with supply chain and distribution teams to maintain optimal stock levels.Analyze product performance by category, SKU, brand, size, color, and season to support assortment and profitability decisions.Collaborate with sourcing and suppliers to establish production schedules and ensure timely product launches.Recommend markdown and pricing strategies to optimize inventory turnover and protect profit margins.Track key merchandising KPIs, including sell-through, stock turn, GMROI, weeks of supply, inventory availability, and forecast accuracy.Prepare planning reports and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field.MBA or a relevant professional certification is a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in retail merchandise planning, including at least 2 years in a managerial or senior analytical role within the fashion or apparel industry.Strong analytical, financial planning, and inventory management skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis.Strong command of English, both written and spoken.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
