Planning Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Planning Specialist to manage demand and material planning activities separately, ensuring smooth production flow and optimal inventory levels.

The role involves forecasting, inventory analysis, and coordination with internal departments to prevent any disruption in operations.

Key Responsibilities:Review material requests received from the technical office and validate stock availability for planned production.

Monitor daily inventory levels and ensure availability of required materials for production plans.

Issue purchase requests for raw materials in case of shortages, ensuring all required data (codes, quantities) are accurately completed.

Follow up on minimum stock levels and initiate replenishment actions accordingly.

Analyze and review inventory levels, providing recommendations to optimize stock and reduce shortages or overstock.

Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Prepare and analyze reports comparing actual production against planned targets.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting for demand forecasting and purchasing planning.

Support production continuity by ensuring all materials are available before releasing production plans.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of inventory management principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ( ERP systems is a plus).

Strong communication and coordination skills.
