Procurement Engineer

Review Project Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material requisitions, and technical specifications to procure electrical materials and equipment.Input, track, and manage Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), supplier data, and delivery status using the internal ERP system.Negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules with local and international vendors to ensure optimal cost savings without compromising quality.Obtain competitive quotations, prepare commercial/technical bid evaluations (TBE/CBE), and compare proposals against project specs.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with qualified electrical suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.Coordinate closely with suppliers and the logistics/site teams to expedite orders, monitor shipment status, and resolve any delivery delays or quality disputes.Continuously survey the market to identify new suppliers, alternative technical products, and price trends in the electrical engineering domain.
