Procurement Manager

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and standardize procurement across the company’s livestock and agricultural operations.

This role is responsible for securing supply continuity, optimizing total purchasing cost, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring transparent, well-governed purchasing processes aligned with Finance, Operations, and Technical teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead a centralized procurement function serving all business sectors (livestock and agriculture).Build and deliver annual procurement plans based on operational demand and production cycles.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms (supply, payment, delivery).Establish, manage, and renew long-term contracts to cover strategic materials and services.Develop an approved supplier base and conduct periodic performance reviews.Track market movements for key commodities (e.g., corn, soybean meal, fertilizers) and time purchases to maximize value.Partner with Finance to align purchasing with cash-flow and payment schedules.Coordinate with technical, veterinary, and agricultural teams to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.Prepare technical and financial bid comparisons and document award recommendations.Provide periodic management reports highlighting savings, variances, and key procurement KPIs.Maintain governance, transparency, and proper documentation across all purchasing activities.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.7+ years of procurement experience, with hands-on exposure to agriculture and/or livestock production.Strong experience in feed procurement and raw-material negotiations (required).Good understanding of the Egyptian market for veterinary medicines, vaccines, and fertilizers.Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting; ability to build clear cost comparisons.ERP experience preferred (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus).Good English communication skills are preferred.Location & Work TypeLocation: Company headquarters – New DamiettaWork Type: Full-time, with field visits as required
