Procurement Specialist – Packaging Materials

Develops and executes purchasing strategies for packaging materials in line with business and cost objectives.Sources, evaluates, and onboards reliable packaging suppliers, and manages ongoing vendor relationships.Leads negotiations on price, payment terms, and delivery conditions to close deals on optimal terms.Determines order quantities and delivery timing to ensure uninterrupted supply without excess inventory.Monitors and forecasts packaging price and market trends to anticipate cost movements and supply risks.Performs cost analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmarking for packaging materials.Identifies, assesses, and mitigates supply risks related to packaging materials.Partners with stakeholders (Production, Planning, Quality, R&D) to ensure clear and accurate requirement documentation.Tracks and reports key procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery adherence.Maintains accurate purchasing records and master data in the ERP system..

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably in packaging materials within FMCG or food manufacturing.Solid experience in sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation.Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and figures; proficiency in Excel and ERP/vendor management systems.Sound judgment and decision-making skills with strong communication abilities.
