Procurement Team Lead (Medical background)

Job Brief:The Procurement Lead is responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supplier management, and timely availability of materials and services.

The role focuses on developing procurement strategies, negotiating with vendors, improving purchasing processes, and leading procurement operations to support business objectives efficiently.

Job Description:Lead and oversee daily procurement operations and purchasing activities.Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to ensure material availability.Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation.Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.Track procurement KPIs and prepare regular procurement reports.Resolve supplier-related issues and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Lead, mentor, and support procurement team members when applicable.

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Scientific or Medical background (e.g: Biotechnology, Science, Pharmacy or Agriculture)
• At least 7 years of experience in domestic procurement or supply chain management.
• Very Good command of both written and spoken in English.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address sourcing and logistics challenges.Nice to have
• Procurement diploma certification.
• Familiarity with procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
