Purchasing / Procurement Specialist (IT)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to manage our procurement activities and ensure the efficient flow of goods and services.

Overview:As our Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing Computers, laptops , maintenance supplies materials, equipment, and services.

You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.

Your expertise in supply chain management and procurement will be crucial in optimizing our purchasing processes.

Responsibilities:Manage the procurement of IT hardware, software, licenses, and related services.

• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with internal departments to identify procurement needs.
• Maintain supplier relationships and procurement records.Location: Alexandria, EgyptWork Arrangement: On-site
• 2–5 years of experience in IT Procurement/Purchasing.
• Hands-on experience in purchasing IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, as well as software and software licenses.
• Good knowledge of local IT vendors and technology suppliers.
• Experience in obtaining quotations (RFQs), conducting technical and commercial evaluations, and negotiating with suppliers.
• Ability to create and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and manage the procurement process through to delivery.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
