Purchasing Specialist

Source and purchase wood, boards, veneers, laminates, hardware, accessories, and other production materials.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.Obtain and compare quotations while ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions.Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new sourcing opportunities.Coordinate with Production, Technical Office, and Warehouse teams to ensure material availability.Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders according to production schedules.Track supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and service.Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and budgets.Prepare purchasing reports and maintain accurate procurement records.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Purchasing Specialist in woodworking, furniture manufacturing, interior fit-out, or construction materials.Strong knowledge of wood products, MDF, plywood, HPL, veneers, solid wood, hardware, adhesives, and finishing materials.Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.Good understanding of local market suppliers and procurement processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
