Quality Control Specialist

Job Role· Responsible for supporting quality assurance, food safety compliance, and operational excellencewithin Fresh Food departments.

The role focuses on day-to-day monitoring, auditing,implementation of quality standards, and supporting stores in achieving compliance, reducingcustomer complaints, and maintaining product safety and freshness

Key Responsibilities· Support the pre-opening preparation of new stores by monitoring department setup according to approved layouts and brand standards.· Implement and follow up on quality policies, procedures, and work instructions across Fresh Food departments.· Conduct routine internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements.· Ensure continuous monitoring of product quality and freshness, preventing the presence of expired or non-conforming products in stores.· Assist in achieving sales targets and profitability by maintaining high quality and food safety standards.· Collect, analyze, and classify customer complaints, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with store management.· Monitor food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices across all Fresh Food sections.· Follow up on Fresh Food orders to ensure product availability and proper display, supporting sales performance.· Support and monitor Champions Programs staff, ensuring proper execution of assigned quality and food safety tasks.· Conduct competitor and market visits to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.· Ensure compliance with company operational, quality, and food safety policies.· Support the implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) in stores.· Follow up on FSMS-related observations, non-conformities, and corrective actions.· Prepare periodic reports on quality performance, food safety compliance, and audit results.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary, Agriculture or equivalent· Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, or Fresh Food Operations· Intermediate level of English· Proficient user of Microsoft Office
