Safety Engineer – Construction Project

The Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing safety procedures and monitoring safety performance on project sites.

The role involves regular inspections, safety training, and coordination with project teams to ensure compliance with HSE standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and enforce site safety policies and proceduresConduct daily and weekly safety inspections at construction sitesMonitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practicesManage and control work permits (hot work, working at height, confined space, etc.)Provide safety briefings and training for workers and subcontractorsIdentify safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are implementedAssist in incident investigation and reportingMaintain safety records and prepare safety reportsCoordinate with project management and HSE teams to improve safety performance

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field3–5 years of safety experience in construction or industrial projectsFamiliar with site safety management and risk controlKnowledge of international HSE standards is preferredCertifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are an advantageGood communication and training skillsEnglish proficiency sufficient for workplace communicationExperience working with international or Chinese EPC companies is a plus
