Senior Foreign Procurement & Logistics Specialist

We are looking for distinguished professionals to join our Supply Chain team as Senior Foreign Procurement Specialists and Senior Foreign Logistics Specialists in our leading manufacturing and supply company.Job Overview:These two roles play a crucial part in supporting operational processes and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and services.

Responsibilities include dealing with local and international suppliers, following up on procurement procedures, managing shipping and customs clearance operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

We are seeking highly skilled candidates with proven experience in procurement and logistics, who have the ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, and possess strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure optimal operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:Senior Foreign Procurement Specialist:Manage the procurement process for products required by the company, including packaging machinery, materials, and other factory needs, by implementing effective purchasing strategies and building strong relationships with suppliers.Oversee the entire shipping process post-purchase to ensure timely delivery, coordinate with logistics partners, and resolve any shipping challenges.Issue ACID documents via the "Nafiza" platform (MTS) in compliance with import/export regulations and ensure efficient processing of documents.Manage the CargoX cycle and documentation related to international shipments.Organize meetings with local and international suppliers, negotiate terms, and secure competitive agreements.Collaborate with the sales team to understand product needs, meet procurement requirements, and align them with sales objectives.Prepare accurate quotations in accordance with the company’s pricing system, and coordinate with the finance department to ensure profitability and compliance.Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels, resolve storage issues, and ensure a smooth flow of products.Conduct regular data analysis, monitor procurement and shipping performance, and evaluate supplier effectiveness to support strategic decision-making.Senior Foreign Logistics Specialist:Handle inbound shipments: Direct communication with shipping companies and follow-up on shipments to ensure efficient execution.Manage the shipping budget: Initiate and follow up on shipping budgets, selecting the most cost-effective solutions.Regulatory compliance: Manage the issuance of ACID documents and ensure adherence to the "Nafiza" and CargoX systems.Shipment insurance documentation: Accurately and timely prepare insurance certificates.Manage customs clearance procedures: Coordinate with clearance companies to ensure prompt completion of customs clearance.Follow up with customs: Daily follow-up with customs brokers to track shipment status.Manage banking documents: Supervise the receipt of original shipping documents from banks in an accurate and timely manner.Manage invoices and payments: Review shipping invoices and coordinate with the accounts department to ensure accurate payments and financial records

Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or any related field.Experience: 2 to 5 years in foreign procurement or international logistics, with proven experience dealing with international suppliers.Preferred Age: Less than 35Skills:Strong knowledge in procurement, shipping, and customs clearance operations.Proficiency in using tools and systems like Nafeza and CargoX.Strong analytical and reporting skills.Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
